LI’s SPICY DEGREE 0° / 75°
The original ambition of Dezhuang was to bring all the diverse people of the world to the same table, and enjoy together the deliciousness that the Szechuan cuisine has to offer.
But when it comes to choose the right degree of spiciness, here come the troubles.
Dezhuang took on the mission of uniting all the tongues of the world under the same standard of piquancy, so that everyone could understand each other’s preferences in terms of spiciness. In 2017, after 7 years of experiments leaded by the finest minds in the Dezhuang’s laboratories, our team finally came out with the first objective and customer friendly standard of spiciness, the Li’s Spicy Degree.
In 2018, the Li’s Spicy Degree won the patent, and officially became the local standard in Chongqing.
Our standard is based on the overall amount of capsaicin present in the final product, according to which the latter is categorized in one of the 6 different degrees.
